I felt really moved by my VONA community. My workshop and I formed community both socially and meeting separately for additional hours and to deepen our understanding of ourselves as artists, rather than just focusing on our works. I was able to speak at all hours with many of the other workshops and make lifelong friends. We encouraged each other and gave each other tips on everything from sentence structure to publishing. fiction 2011
